Sometimes when you install a new version of Charting Companion it doesn't restart correctly. To fix this, simply reset the settings.
There are three ways to do this:
- Assuming the program will start, in the menu, click on "File, Options, Restore defaults".
- If the program has difficulty starting, hold down the Shift key as you double-click on the icon to start Charting Companion. You will be prompted to reset the settings.
- As a last resort, delete all the files ending in ".XML", and the following file:
C:\Users\my_login\AppData\Roaming\Progeny\CC\PROGENY.CFGwhere "my_login" is your login ID.
If you are unable to see this file, do this.
