If you've added siblings to your ancestor chart, you may want to make the direct line stand out a little more.
First, you should adjust your line width to be a heavier point size. When the chosen line width is 2 pt or over, sibling lines will reduce to 1/2 pt, leaving your direct line at 2 pt.
Next, you should consider using colors in the chart. Direct line ancestors will be assigned their color within the chosen color scheme, while siblings will be assigned a lighter shade within the color scheme.
