Map my Family Tree will also recognize GEDCOM files.

These can be created by any good genealogy program. This means you will be able to still get the maps you want.

In your genealogy program look for an EXPORT to GEDCOM option. See that program's help if needed. Save the file in a location where you can find it and then open the GEDCOM file you created with Map my Family Tree.
