Out of memory error. Is my file too big?

The message you received indicates your system cannot handle the memory load for such a file. (MMFT processes place names, and there are usually even more places than people in a file.)

Solution: A solution for you would be to splice off some GEDCOM or smaller data files until you find a threshold that your system can handle. For example, take a person and do a GEDCOM of his/her ancestors to X number of generations. This will reduce the amount of processing required.
