Can I add names to my database with Genelines?

No, you cannot. Genelines is a read-only program: in other words, it reads your genealogy data base but does not write to it.
To add new names, you must use your regular genealogy program, such as Personal Ancestral File, Family Tree Maker, or Legacy.

1. Open your data base
2. Add the names of new ancestors or relatives
3. Close your program or your data base
4. Open Genelines, and the new names will appear
